A New Beginning...

Well.. This is it.. yet another crossroad in ur life.. the end of something and the beginning of something much more bright and fantastic...

New yr comes and goes in a blink of an eye... esp for the past few yrs, for me... I have to admit i learn along the way.. and my life has changed ever since... its 2 hrs to the beginning of the new yr and i wanna recall a few things before i start a new yr in a new way!...

This yr was in a way a simple yet impt yr for me in ma life... This was the yr i got wat i really wanted.. my driving licence... after failing it in ma first attempt in June, i passed it in ma second attempt in August... and with that ma dream of driving ma family ard came true... I met a very impt fren... Geetha, who is now my confidant and close fren... I successfully paid off the first loan i took from ma family fren... I successfully completed ma second yr in the U... And today the day before the new yr begin... A new member entered our family... Ma new pet, a mixed Pomeranian Poodle doggie...The year didnt disappoint me in many ways.. But disappointments did happen...

I lost a person who was so dear to me... i found out alot abt him... that i neba knew and i wud neba wanna hear abt him... It was hard to accept it... but eventually i had to.. i mean i have to.. Thats wat i have told maself... Thats wat ma fren Geetha has told me... Ma new yr resolution wud be to live for maself..

Things happen all for a reason.. i always believed in it... Alot of ppl i love and care for have gone thru alot this yr too... I juz wanna say prayers for all of them and hope 2007 will be THE year for all.. and of cos for maself... all de best all.. live ur dreams and have a blast...!!!

A guy...

Wun u fall for a guy....
- who says the nicest things that u have neba heard before...
- who makes it a point to find out if u have money to go to school and eat lunch....
- who talks to ur mum like he knew her forever...
- who plays mediator when ur sis and u had an arguement...
- who sits down with u at the airport and sings all ur fav song with u...
- who brings u to all the semi posh restraunts n feeds u(literally) when u say u dun wanna eat...
- who remembers all the impt ppl, events and things in ur life...
- who calls you so many times when overseas...
- who cares so much for your mum who has a chronic health condition...
- who gives a shoulder whenever u wanna cry...

Sound like a perfect bf/hubby material... ah ha... theres a BUT angels... a BIG FAT BUT!!!

But wun u hate the same guy if,
- he was nothing he potrayed himself to be...
- he hid everything abt himself, even the ones that he shud have told...
- he was doing the same or even more with another gal...
- he tells ya he is going holidays with his mom but is off alone to see his gf who u nvr knew of...
- he makes u seem and feel like a loser whenever an arguement comes abt...
- he neba cared though he pretended to...
- he runs and hides like a WORM when he finds out that u figured certain things out...
- he is too proud to give u an explaination or at least an apology...
- he still happily coexist in the world like nothin happened, while u sink in depression...

Yesterday.. I loved...
Today... I hate... I literally do!!!

An imperfect man living perfectly...

"No one is perfect.."... Sick of this phrase? at least i am...

No doubt abt it... i agree to every part of it, but i juz cant stand ppl using it as a reason to err... Yeah being born as human, we err... But learning from it is all abt it... Its perfectly ok to be imperfect... But provided our imperfection does not do any harm to anyone in anyway... But knowing that you have hurt someone, instead of saying the magical words and seeking forgivness, its totally egoistic, immature, irritating for anyone to simply say, "i am not perfect, no one is, not even close to it..."

Hey i do make mistakes, but if i know i have hurt someone, i stop, think and apologise... Simple...Whether or not the other party forgives or not... Its not an excuse to assume no point in asking forgiveness as u noe that the other party is not gonna forgive ya... Its juz a mask to hide ya ego...

Being ard ppl who care is a gift... its a blessing not many ppl get... But do u noe when that blessing is valid? when ya truthful to them, and ya as sincere as them. No point in basking in the affection ppl shower on ya, only to no be able to return that love and affection sincerely... Love IS a 2 way channel... There has to be an action for a reaction, there has to be giving before reciving... The love am toking abt, need not be the intimacy between 2 lovers, but any love that any two human beings share... It can even be the love between father and son,mother and daughter, husband and wife and even two homosexuals...

This makes an imperfect man live perfectly... (in ma opinion)

Staff day out!

As part of the staff welfare, a mini excursion was organised for all the Admin and Ex staff.. We were to go to Discovery center den for bowling game.. it was fun and funny... I really enjoyed the bowlin though...

Christmas party @ work..

Jaz was telluing us abt his company Hi-Tea and Christmas gift exchange and Karen and i casually suggested organising a christmas makan and gift exchange for the EAS as well... And to our surprise our admin manager agreed immediately and told us to arrange for it.. So we quickly got everyone to buy or cook something and informed everyone to get a gift of at least $5 worth as some of the aunties dun earn all that much... The one moron in the office whom we all hate, had the cheek to buy muruku and crackers.. gudness gracious... She received Jaz's gift which was a nice mug and wanted to exchange it with another aunty who got a makan set(bowl,small and big plate set), and i bought that... haha.. the aunty refused to exchange with her.. i mean she had the cheek to actually choose her gift when she brought pathetic ones.... eventually i guess we made her feel so bad that she gave away her gift to the aunty who got her muruku gift... hahaha... But it was a fun afternoon... We had so much of food...

Jaz's mum cooked chicken curry for us, Rina made fried bee hoon and nuggets, i made egg and mayo and tuna sandwiches and sausages with quail egg..... Karen bought sardine and potatoe curry puffs, the aunties brought the fruits and drinks...

But the highlight for that day, was wat we did for the old contract cleaners in the school.. it was so heart warming... Karen bought them gifts.. while me iskandar annan and ma mum bought the food and drink for that day... They were so happy like lil kids to get all that from us.. it juz felt so gud and fulfilling...

Jaz and Karen wanna strike a pose but ma boss(the principal) juz wanna whack the curry...

Sentosa.. Gals day out!

2Weeks back... Vanitha and Radhika called me to join them for a day at Sentosa... Initially i was reluctant to go.. eventually i took a half day leave and went... Gosh.. i had so much of fun.. oni then i realised i have been missing out alot of the beach... We swam for like 4 hours.. and no regrets abt it... The beach was not too packed with ppl... The weather was warm and it felt so gud to be in the water... Along with us, were Revathi(Vanitha's Poly fren) and her younger sister... Vanz cooked beehoon and Revathi brought sandwiches... It was a perfect way to spend my off day!!!

While waiting for the Sentosa bus... It took abt 8 attempts to get everyone in the picture..

After Sentosa, Revathi and her sister headed home while Vanz,Radhi and maself headed to Vivocity... I gotta say, Vivocity is JUZ ANOTHER SHOPPING CENTRE!!! i dun understand wats all that hype abt... We had a nice dinner at Carls Junior.. and headed home all tired in a cab... Wheww... a spent worthwhile i wud say!!!
